The Cape Fear High School Winter Guard performs from the months of November until late March/mid April. The winter guard competes in the Atlantic Indoor Association circuit and has, in the past, competed in the Winter Guard International Circuit.

Students in grades 8-12 who are interested in dance, choreography and movement may choose to audition for our Winter Guard program. The Winter Guard has auditions that begin in November and the selected group will compete from January-April.

Winter Guard does have a fee. These fees help pay for costumes, choreography, mixing of performance music, hired supplemental staff, flags, tarps, buses/transportation and other equipment needs. Fundraisers can and will be done to help out the program.
